The Lakers played their second preseason game of the year Tuesday night in Hawaii against the Utah Jazz. Lakers fans could only hold their breath when D'Angelo Russell went down hard in the paint in the first quarter, especially after they lost Julius Randle to injury in the first game of the season roughly one year ago.
D’Angelo Russell bruised his butt and it wasn’t from Kobe Bryant kicking it
Thank goodness he’s okay!

— The Cauldron (@TheCauldron) October 7, 2015 It was a HARD fall for Russell, but luckily it looks like his diagnosis is a "bruised glute." Glad to hear you only bruised your butt, D'Angelo. Be careful next time when Rudy Gobert comes flying down the lane.
D’Angelo Russell is OK. It’s basically a bruised butt, on which he took that hard fall. He’s able to return to this game.
