This player windmilled home a shot from beyond halfcourt in the Israeli basketball league

James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.
The bar is pretty high for halfcourt shots in basketball games, but this three-quarter double-pump from the National League in Israel might be one of the best ever. Honestly, we’re not sure when this took place. It’s exceedingly difficult to verify highlights from the National League in Israel, but we do know that this is former Ball State star Julien “Skip” Mills and that he plays for Ironi Kiryat, but not much more.
Let’s talk about this shot though: For half of his jump, Mills can’t even see the basket, then he needs to double pump just to throw up this prayer AND he did all this at the end of the third quarter. This was not a half-assed attempt. He REALLY went for it and that makes it glorious.
