Despite the horrendous effervescence from Stephen A. Smith and his support of Greg Hardy, ESPN has some personalities who are able to effectively explain the situation that Greg Hardy and the Cowboys have created in Dallas.
On Friday’s Around the Horn, Jackie MacMullan squared the blame on owner Jerry Jones, who has not been shy of his admiration for the defensive end convicted of assault:
I don’t understand why anybody would ever root one second—one second—for the Dallas Cowboys as long as Jerry Jones is in charge of this football team and his signing Greg Hardy as a free agent to help his football team.
I don’t understand it. If he saw those photos, shame on him. If he didn’t see these photos, shame on him even more.
MacMullan is not the first sports personality to rip on Hardy and Jones. Terry Bradshaw did this earlier in the NFL season. Here’s hoping that more people speak out.
