This D-League dunk is straight out of ‘NBA Jam’

Video games come to life.

Do you remember how back in the original NBA Jam you'd line up a dunk so spectacular and vicious that you'd end up clearing out the defender upon impact, how they'd just fly off the screen? That happened in the NBA D-League last night as Orlando Johnson of the Austin Spurs obliterated Reno's David Stockton (son of John) on a soul- and ribcage-crushing jam.

He actually flew out of the picture! Stockton is a little guy, and he was both late and too deep to take the charge. That doesn’t make this dunk any less impressive. Holy smokes.
