The Rock is a busy, busy man. He works on movies, stars in HBO’s Ballers, occasionally appears on WWE and works out every day with the fury of 1,000 New Year’s resolutions. How did a man with so much energy wind up with the laziest dog in existence? I like to think it’s karmic alignment.
You see, The Rock needs his French Bulldog Hobbs. Hobbs is the yin to his yang, the peanut butter to his jelly. An entity of such utter laziness that it protects the earth from The Rock’s energy. You see, if this planet was full of Rocks we’d spin off access and hurtle into the sun. Brave souls like Hobbs are needed to keep the balance.
