— China Xinhua News (@XHNews) December 7, 2015 Chinese students turned a snow-covered basketball court into a giant Kobe Bryant picture

James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.
Kobe Bryant has been immortalized on a basketball court in China -- but only until the snow melts. Students in Jilin province decided to honor Kobe’s retirement with a giant piece of snow art emblazoned with the words “Forever 24.” It shall now be known as “Snowbe.”
It takes a special kind of player to get some improvised art like this. Coincidentally, I buy all my clothes at “Forever 24.”
