Yeah, Steph Curry is great and can shoot from basically anywhere on the court — but is he 11 years old?

Jaden Newman is, and she’s scoring unimaginable numbers for Downey Christian High School’s varsity basketball team in Orlando, Florida.

Stop and think about how perplexing this is: an 11-year-old is playing high school basketball. Not only is she doing this, but she is lighting it up.

On Tuesday, she scored a whopping 59 points against Victory Christian Academy in a 98-46 win. As if this basketball wunderkind wasn’t impressive enough, Newman scored a school record of 16 three-pointers with a few of them coming from almost half court.

And she didn’t just start doing it this season. She has been a part of Downey Christian’s varsity high school team since she was 9! What were you doing when you were that age? We bet you weren’t balling up opponents almost twice your age.

Steph Curry better watch out! Jaden Newman is coming after him. After all, she has already beaten him in a three-point contest.
