A chicken sandwich promotion made the end of a Knicks-Jazz blowout super dramatic
This is the Pantheon of air-balled free throw attempts. It looks like Admunson follows through correctly but he ends up leaning, causing the trajectory of the ball to go haywire.
But there is a silver lining in all of this. The Jazz have a promotion in the fourth quarter where everyone in attendance gets a free chicken sandwich if an opposing player misses two free throws. Amundson did, so sandwiches for all.
This was a relief, because Jazz fans previously had the opportunity for chicken sandwiches when Rodney Hood was ejected for a flagrant foul on Sasha Vujacic, giving the Knicks guard the opportunity to miss.
