Here is something a lot of sports fans will say today about the Eagles and Tim Tebow: “He is a fourth-string quarterback. It’s only news because it’s Tim Tebow.” It’s already happening in the replies to the above tweets!

It’s a weird argument because ... Yes? Yes! If this were another fourth-string quarterback we would not talk about it. But it’s Tim Tebow! So we’re going to talk about it, even if it’s not ~that~ big a deal.
