J.J. Watt might help you get out of work if you ask him

Expect the Texans star to be asked to write a LOT more of these in the future.

Bill Hanstock
Bill Hanstock is a writer, author and Emmy Award-winning producer. He began writing for SB Nation in 2011.

Ashlee bought tickets to J.J. Watt’s charity softball game on Friday but needed to get the day off work. ONLY ONE THING TO DO.

The best part? IT WORKED!

Just because everyone’s thinking about it, let’s lay down some ground rules for asking J.J. Watt to get out of things. You are allowed to ask him to write you a note if:

- It is for a good cause
- It is to get out of school
- It will be funny

Okay, I guess that pretty much just means “whenever.” Carry on, everyone.
