It was only a matter of time before this happened, I suppose:
The next frontier of minor league stadium food is pizza that turns into a hot dog
When hot dogs end a pizza, you can have pizza any-- wait, why is this happening.

We introduce the #Frankenslice. Available only during our May 21st home game. Tickets || http://t.co/jiy7F5xVMq pic.twitter.com/rRXYmLkS9o
— Fresno Grizzlies (@FresnoGrizzlies) May 14, 2015 Yes, that’s a pizza where the end of each slice is an entire hot dog. More of a bagel dog, really. But the point remains. It’s called the “Frankenslice” because not only is it an unnatural abomination, but it’s a frank in a slice, get it?
That’s called “wordplay,” kids.
It really should be called “Frankenslice’s Monster,” though, because Frankenslice was the name of the pizza scientist.
And as it turns out, this creation is much more impressive in theory than in execution:

— Fernando Garcia (@fher1286) May 22, 2015 @sundownmotel First taste is a little underwhelming. It's kinda doughy because it's smoked and not baked.
— Fernando Garcia (@fher1286) May 22, 2015 SMOKED AND NOT BAKED
THIS IS MADNESS
@sundownmotel That was literally one of the worst things I've ever eaten. The hot dog tasted like they warmed it for 5 seconds.
— Fernando Garcia (@fher1286) May 22, 2015 Well, that’s a bummer.
