On Wednesday, this courtroom sketch of Tom Brady hit the content-starved Internet during the bottom of the sports calendar. It immediately became the story of the day.
The Tom Brady sketch artist’s other courtroom drawings are actually pretty good
Hey, this artist’s courtroom work is generally OK. Here, take a look.

— Jim Armstrong (@JimArmstrongWBZ) August 12, 2015 On Thursday, Jane Rosenberg, the courtroom sketch artist, told Dan Patrick, “I’m getting, like, a gazillion nasty emails from his fans. Apparently, everybody loves him, and I didn’t make him look pretty enough.” This is ridiculous and terrible.
The thing is Rosenberg has been a courtroom artist for a long time, and you can see on her website the famous trials she’s covered for TV networks. The drawings aren’t bad, either!
Here’s a dope drawing she did for the trial of Omar Abdel-Rahman, “The Blind Sheikh.”
Here’s Al Sharpton at the Tawana Brawley trial.
This John Gotti looks an awful lot like John Gotti!
And this Woody Allen looks just like Woody Allen!
I get that the drawing doesn’t look like Tom Brady and he is handsome and so that is bad. I get that memes are fun. We posted some! But even still, maybe just chill a liiiiiittle bit?
And here, to put a bow on things, is a follow-up portrait from Wednesday’s hearing of Judge Berman.
Redemption sketch! I think Jane Rosenberg captured Judge Berman pretty well. pic.twitter.com/pCa57s0nxN
