Kobe Bryant gets shots up for the first time since surgery, commemorates it with a rare selfie
Mamba ready?

Kobe Bryant gave much needed hope to Lakers supporters Saturday night when he posted a rare selfie at the gym.
While the “gym selfie” shot may be popular among us mere mortals, it was extra special for the shooting guard having missed most of last season because of a torn rotator cuff. The extensive recovery time delayed Bryant from any basketball activities for nine months.
Naturally, he was excited to be back on the court practicing, this from his Instagram:
“First day back on the court shooting! Bout damn time!! #shoulderrecovery #20thseason @drinkbodyarmor #lakers”
Or perhaps he was just happy because today marked his 37th birthday, and he’s still in the game. Either way, happy birthday, Mamba, and good luck on your progress.
