Spain’s Alejandro Valverde clinched victory in the fourth stage of the Vuelta a España but not without the help of Google Maps. Yes that’s right, Google Maps. Alejandro admitted that he timed his race out to benefit his strengths by finding the hard parts of the course on Google Maps. We assume it went a little something like this.

He was quoted from The Guardian as saying, "We did not know the finish and this morning we saw on Google Maps, which is the best thing since sliced bread, that it was hard — we saw that it could be good for me." Google IS one of the best things since sliced bread, Alejandro, but the real question we have is: Why isn't every cyclist doing this? Seems absolutely necessary.
