Floyd Mayweather’s uncle, Jeff, of course had to get his nephew’s input on the Nick Diaz suspension.
Floyd Mayweather agrees with Ronda Rousey: Nick Diaz should be allowed to smoke weed
On the Mayweather Boxing Channel, Jeff asks Floyd what his thoughts are on Diaz, to which Floyd immediately responds:
“Let that man smoke weed and enjoy his life!”
His pro-Diaz stance echoes that of his nemesis, Ronda Rousey, who -- albeit in greater detail -- also expressed a strong disapproval of the ban at a UFC press conference earlier this month:
“It’s so not right for him to be suspended five years for marijuana,” Rousey said. “I’m against them testing for weed at all. It’s not a performance-enhancing drug. It has nothing to do with athletic competition. It’s only tested for political reasons.”
It looks like the two have just now finally agreed on something.
