Alabama’s members of Congress are yelling ‘ROLL TIDE’ in the House of Representatives

Ever wonder what your elected officials are up to when they’re not making headlines or having hours of boring governance condensed into a few seconds to be shown on TV? Well, most of the time they’re doing boring political stuff. Other times they’re yelling “Roll Tide.”

Representatives from Alabama took the floor at the house on Tuesday to give a lengthy congratulations to the Crimson Tide for winning the National Championship. They also referenced a bet with South Carolina’s official that will give them recognition and some terrible mustard-based barbecue.

For now, we’ll always have this.
