Charlie Villanueva tried to choke Russell Westbrook during Mavericks-Thunder scuffle
Midway into the second quarter, things got chippy between Russell Westbrook and some Mavericks players. Initially the call was on J.J. Barea who delivered a hard foul to Westbrook.
At some point after the altercation with Barea, the Mavericks got involved. While everyone was tangled up, Charlie Villanueva grabbed Westbrook by the neck.
Villanueva was quickly ejected.
When asked about it after the game, Westbrook took the political route.
