Chiefs challenge flag bandit is extremely smooth and also helpful

YOINK!

Someone call the officials! Someone has swiped Andy Reid’s challenge flag right from his pocket. Maybe this person is in charge of throwing the flag? No, that’s too obvious of a ploy. This guy, who coicidentally looks like part of the Chiefs’ staff, probably sells game-used challenge flags.

Or maybe -- just maybe -- this goes deeper than we think? What if the Chiefs are forcing themselves to not challenge a play. If they win, they’ll win without question. We’re through the looking glass here, people.

The real reason this happened is due to the 2-minute warning. Teams aren’t allowed to challenge in the last two minutes. So the flag has no use anyway. It’s better to be safe than sorry and lose a timeout or 15 yards.
