Thomas Davis helped clinch a Panthers NFC title game berth with this onside kick recovery

Nobody has been more important to the Panthers for longer and without fanfare than linebacker Thomas Davis. The veteran has epitomized the team’s ideal of “Keep Pounding” through THREE torn ACLs in the same knee. When everything was on the line, Davis came up big.

The Seahawks staged a tremendous comeback to pull within a single score with a minute left on the clock. An onside kick would be their savior, but Davis, a man who is known for his knee injuries, didn’t just leap into the air to snag the kick -- but got blasted in the knees and held on.

It was a perfect end to the game for the Panthers veteran.
