Demaryius Thomas’ mom gets game ball from Peyton Manning after Broncos win

Demaryius Thomas' mother was in attendance for the Broncos-Steelers Divisional Round game on Sunday, marking the first time that she witnessed her son play professional football. Katina Smith, Thomas' mother, was incarcerated for 15 years for playing a role in a cocaine trafficking ring. She sported a custom jersey with the words "Bay Bay's Mama."
At the end of the game, Peyton Manning made the moment even more special by handing the ball to Demaryius Thomas. The ball wasn’t for Thomas however. According to Jim Nantz, Manning said “give that to your mother.”
Demaryius Thomas carried that ball out of the locker room, reunited with his mom in a hallway in the bowels of the stadium.
