Former NBA All-Star Clifford Robinson is starting a weed store called ‘Uncle Spliffy’
Former NBA player Cliff Robinson is looking to capitalize on Oregon’s recent legalization of recreational marijuana with his very own weed shop.
The retired Trailblazers’ great is set to address an expected crowd of 2,500 people at the 2016 Cannabis Collaborative Conference, taking place Feb. 3 and Feb. 4 at the Portland Expo Center.
Robinson also had this to say, per the Portland Business Journal:
“It’s an opportunity for me to get out there and tell people a little bit about myself outside of basketball. People in Oregon know me as a basketball player, but I want to distill the stigma around cannabis, the misperception that athletes and cannabis are incompatible.”
Really, the important thing to note here is that the name of the Robinson’s weed store will be “Uncle Spliffy” and the homepage currently looks like this:
