The Internet made Tyronn Lue into a meme but Allen Iverson showed nothing but love

As soon as news broke that David Blatt was fired by the Cleveland Cavaliers, many speculated that assistant coach Tyronn Lue would take the reins. Lue was made new head coach soon after.

In the meantime, the Internet exploded with the news that Lue would step over someone’s job rather than being stepped on like he’s remembered by most NBA fans.

Allen Iverson was the player who stepped over Lue. He actually voiced his opinion on Twitter regarding the move, and it wasn’t as cold-blooded as when he stepped over Lue when the two were both playing in the NBA. In fact, it was very sweet:
