— Alex Rozier (@AlexRozierK5) January 9, 2016 The Seattle Mariners literally rolled out the red carpet for Ken Griffey Jr.

Ken Griffey Jr. is one of the few major league players that made the Baseball Hall of Fame for 2016, and with good reason. Because of this prestigious honor, Griffey is dressed for the occasion.
Okay, not really but it doesn’t matter how he’s dressed. He can wear a track suit or he can wear a tuxedo, but he’s all class — especially considering how the Mariners welcomed him on Friday.
They literally rolled out the red carpet for him! Congratulations Ken Griffey Jr.! According to the Mariners, he was dressing cozy for his flight.
But the real honor of the night is when the Mariners announced that Griffey’s no. 24 will be retired.
Beginning on Opening Day in April, no player in the ENTIRE #Mariners organization will ever wear number 24 again. #JrHOF
