Cricket player gets nose crushed by ball, but his face makes the play

This is the most unlikely cricket run out you’ll see ... ever. Adam Zampa of the Melbourne Stars took a ball off his face when a shot deflected off Peter Nevill’s bat and made contact with his nose. The potentially horrific injury became amazing when the crowd, commentators and Zampa alike all realized the deflection caused Nevill to be run out.

Here’s a view from stump cam showing the deflection hitting the wickets.

Nevill didn’t even care about being run out. His first thought was to check and make sure Zampa was okay. That’s brilliant sportsmanship.
