The 2017 Rose Parade included a bunch of very good dogs surfing

Best. Float. Ever.

The Rose Parade has been held 127 times. It’s one of the most iconic parades in the world. Despite it’s prestige, zero of those 127 Rose Parades have included dogs surfing. Thankfully, that finally changed Monday.

The fine folks at Lucy Pet Foundation developed something they call a K-9 surf machine that will be part of a special surf float. That may be the greatest sentence I have ever written. The result:

Why did we even bother making other floats for the 2017 Rose Parade? Just build out 50 dog surfing floats and enjoy the best parade in history.

Hopefully the very good dog who enjoyed some surfing at an Athletics game this year will get to join their friends for some parade surfing next year.
