This Patriots fan picked the worst time to hold up his ‘should have run the ball’ sign mocking the Seahawks

This sign is the greatest piece of poetic justice. It’s proof that the world can still give us wonderful things. On Sunday night, a Patriots fan decided to troll the Seahawks with a sign referencing their infamous decision not to run the ball in the dying moments of Super Bowl XLIX. The stakes weren’t as high on Sunday night, but this was still hilarious.

It’s because the sign appeared at this exact moment. This was the fourth-and-1 play at the end of the game that could have allowed the Patriots to win — but instead of running the ball, they threw it — just like the Seahawks.

Then this sign appeared.

There’s so much beauty in the world.
