Just ... just watch this.
Cross Country runner gets launched in the air by stampeding deer

At this point we know you’re in that totally weird place where you’re not sure if it’s okay to laugh or not. This is fine, it’s normal — we were there too. Yes, you can laugh and laugh a lot because this cross country runner who got utterly obliterated by a running deer is fine.
Justin DeLuzio was running for the Gwyneed Mercy University men’s cross country team when the herd of deer came majestically galloping through the meadow and right into DeLuzio’s flank. He got bowled over, and the worst part is that he was a senior and this was his last collegiate race. At least it was memorable.
DeLuzio is a hero because he got back up and finished running the 8 kilometers. He even posted a pretty dang good time of 31:16. After the race his coach let everyone know that the runner was fine.
“Justin is doing ok, he’s just a little sore and bruised up. We were worried about his health for a while but we’re proud to see him fight through this along with his teammates, get up and finish his last collegiate cross country race.”
Oh, deer.
Sorry. Here’s a gift to apologize.
