This incredible dad spent hours trying to replicate all his daughter’s gymnastics moves

When 41-year-old Ash Mills decided he wanted to share in his daughter’s passion, the Australian dad began getting into gymnastics as a way to bond with her. Now it’s his passion, too.
Mills is a very fit guy. His job as a high-rise window cleaner means he needs to stay in shape, and he’s run a marathon every year for the past five years. Gymnastics is an entirely different thing. He admits flexibility is his weakness, but this video alone shows how far he’s come. Sure there are time he almost cracks his skull trying to tumble, and then others when his handstand is pretty dang good.
Alex Mills, Ash’s daughter, is a serious gymnastics competitor. Ash joining in became a way to make things easier.
“My daughter trains for 30 hours, six days a week and it’s serious, so we do what we can to keep it fun. Most of the time we aren’t thinking about other people watching.
“If we were getting trolled online we probably would not bother but the comments are almost always positive, which is nice to read.”
It’s great to see something that’s fun stays fun — internet or not — and that Ash is gutsy enough to go for it and share his daughter’s interests.
