This is so cool!
The perks that come with being a professional athlete are innumerable, but seeing how happy fans get from meeting their hero might outshine them all.
Before a Cavaliers game on Friday against Dallas, an anxious fan was waiting to meet Kyrie Irving by the tunnel for the chance of a high-five. Even before Kyrie walks up to the young fan, the kid already looks like it’s Christmas morning.
Actually, he might be more elated than that. And when he finally gets the high-five, he is suspended in time hoping that feeling never goes away. Everything about this is awesome. The players know it and the fans definitely do too.
