I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Game day proposals are bad.

So naturally, I immediately connected with this Michigan fan who booed this marriage proposal between two Ohio State fans on live TV:

This might be one of the biggest moments of this woman’s life (she said yes!), but the Michigan fan just doesn’t give a damn. He hates the Buckeyes with a passion, and nothing will compromise this. Not the cameras. Not being in enemy territory in Columbus. Repping the maize and blue, he keeps booing and booing and booing.

This is the purest form of sports fandom, and we’ve got to respect it.

Plus, it was in good fun and it didn’t end in a physical altercation like this Michigan vs. Ohio State hair-pulling fight.
