The Mannequin Challenge helped this high school team score a 2-point conversion
Don’t sleep on the trick play, though.

I am admittedly getting tired of the Mannequin Challenge, which, after seeing it written about so many, many, many, many, many times, is probably a normal way to feel about it. (However, if a Mannequin Challenge video involves a dog, I will definitely watch it.) So even though Mannequin Challenge fatigue is setting in, there are still people who keep subverting my expectations enough to make me watch their rendition, such as Del Oro High School’s football team, who did theirs in the middle of a game.
They didn’t just do it in the middle of a game, they did it after scoring a touchdown. They did it before going for a two-point conversion. They did it before running a trick play to get the two points.
So yeah, even though I have Mannequin Challenge fatigue, at least it was offset by a really clever trick play. Nice job, Del Oro.
