Tony Parker played tug of war with a jaguar at the zoo

Tony Parker spent his Tuesday morning hanging out at the San Antonio Zoo playing tug-of-war with a jaguar.

OK, his actual purpose for being there was to name two jaguar cubs, which was an honor he won at the zoo’s Zoobilation Ball fundraising event. He’s done this one other time at the same zoo; last year, he got to name three lion cubs TP, Josh, and Axelle, the names of Parker, his son, and his wife, respectively. This year, Parker named the jaguar cubs Liam and Milan, which are named after his second son and his niece.

According to the zoo, apparently there was a plan to name the cubs Tim and Duncan, but the real Tim Duncan “covered his jaguar tattoo on his back,” so that disqualified him. Maybe next time, Tim.
