Santa Cam Newton is back again. On Tuesday, Newton, dressed appropriately in Christmas garb, spent hours going by four locations to give away gifts to Charlotte kids and families. It’s the third time he’s given back to the Charlotte community during the holiday season; last year, he wore a dabbing Santa sweater during his Surprise Sleigh run. According to the Charlotte Observer, Newton brought his family along, since it was an opportunity for them to spend time together. He also had a motorcade for a sleigh:

The reigning NFL MVP’s “sleigh” was a caravan of seven SUVs, a Food Lion truck and a police motorcade that accompanied the group through Charlotte as if carrying a sitting president.
At the first stop, the Barringer Academic Center, Newton and his foundation gave away backpacks filled with treats, and a $30,000 check that went to school’s backpack program.
He also played “Simon Says” — or rather “Cam Says” — with the kids.
Silver Mount Emergency Food Pantry was the second stop for Newton, where he gave out supplies and sang Christmas carols:
Newton’s next stop was at Bethlehem Center, where he gave school supplies, toys, and gift cards, followed by a game of “Seven Up”:
The final stop was at McCormick and Schmick’s, where he gave families $500 gift cards to Food Lion, and gave kids $200 gift cards to Dick’s Sporting Goods, which meant a Cam Newton-hosted shopping spree. Of course, Newton had some fun at Dick’s.
Whenever we see Cam Newton these days, it’s because of what he wears to postgame press conferences. While it’s fun to make jokes about Newton’s fashion sense, he still means so much to the city of Charlotte, and it’s gestures like these that are a good reminder of what’s most important.
