Bengals blocked a Texans extra point late in the game

Not today.

In a game that didn’t see any touchdowns until late in the game, Bengals-Texans proved to have some theatrics. After Cincinnati’s Brandon Tate scored 6 for the Bengals, Alfred Blue answered in kind with a rushing touchdown.

This would put the Texans up only two. An extra point would have given the team at least some cushion, but as we’ve learned this season, all point-after attempts are not guaranteed. Cincinnati blocked it.

That block would nearly come back to haunt the Texans when the Bengals had one final scoring opportunity as the game reached its final minutes. With 5 seconds left, the Bengals attempted a field goal kick and missed one of their own.
