Amped-up Florida Gator destroys sideline whiteboard with helmet heave
James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.
Florida linebacker Jarrad Davis got a little too amped up after the Gators’ big first quarter stop against Alabama in the SEC Championship game. The recipient of this excitement? A poor sideline whiteboard with “#GetTheBall” on it.
The whiteboard got hit so hard it knocked the white off it. This seems to be a thing with Florida. Well, at least it was during Muschamp-era Florida.
Okay, maybe when Muschamp was in Texas as well.
This might just be a Muschamp thing — or his influence lives on in a new generation of Gators.
