The Warriors went to Ian Clark’s high school for his jersey retirement

Those high school kids were in for a treat.

The Golden State Warriors had some time off on Friday. Already in Memphis for their game on Saturday against the Grizzlies, the team as a collective unit squeezed in a milestone for teammate Ian Clark.

Clark’s high school team, the Germantown Red Devils, retired his jersey and his current teammates were there to celebrate his past accolades. This isn’t the first time an NBA team with Kevin Durant visited a high school for a jersey retirement ceremony. Just last year, the Oklahoma City Thunder visited Cameron Payne’s school for the same reason.
