Chad Johnson collected the warm pee of his teammates for medical purposes

James Dator
James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.

Chad Johnson went on “Mike & Mike in the Morning” on Wednesday to talk all things NFL, the follow-up to the Super Bowl and using warm pee to heal ankle injuries. These things all happened.

“If I had my ankle sprained I’d collect warm urine from my teammates, heat it up, and put my ankle in it for 30 minutes.”

This is a bold new medical technique for a non-jellyfish based injury. I took to the Internet to try and find out more about this treatment and ... it doesn’t exist.

pee

Johnson has always marched to the beat of his own drum, though, so maybe this is just the start to more pee treatment.
