Twins pitcher Trevor May loves his cat, and you should too

The Twins pitcher just dropped his personal website this week, and it is everything you hoped it would be (cats and Soundcloud page included)

It’s been over four months since Trevor May last appeared in a baseball game, so understandably he’s getting a little bored and antsy waiting for spring. As one does, the second-year Minnesota Twins pitcher dropped a professional website earlier this week.

This is noteworthy, because HE HAS A CAT:

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! #Twinsterritory

At first glance, the site looks fairly ordinary. Then, his introductory bio on the home page raises the bar: "This is the official website of Trevor May, the dude with the eyebrows. Professional Baseball Player for the Minnesota Twins, Disc Jocky, Yogi, Cook, Philosopher, and Dreamer. And Cats. He really likes his cat." That's right, there is a page solely devoted to adorable photos of his cat LC (he insists the name derives from "Lost Cat" and not reality TV star Lauren Conrad, but we're not yet convinced).

I mean, just look. This cat is everything. Their relationship is PURRfect:

It's also worth noting that May is not too shabby at the whole house music and dubstep thing, either. There's a page devoted to promoting his original EDM/house music, which he produces under his own name. However, May's also been known to moonlight under the alter ego of "DJ Hey Beef". After all, how many MLB players can claim over four thousand listens to their original music on Soundcloud.

But let’s be real. We’re here for LC, the coolest cat on the block:

Just when we were hoping for a new favorite MLB character, May seems to have delivered. And kudos to him for taking both his music and LC seriously. May also appears to have a history of being the clubhouse goofball, as his hilarious promo video last June to get teammate Brian Dozier voted into the All-Star Game can attest to.

Watch that video here (via mlb.com), complete with fangirling, spot-on banter with fellow reliever Brian Duensing and awkward interactions with the Twins’ Spanish-speaking players.
