None of Australia’s NBA players made the All-Star Game, so they’re hanging out on a boat instead
James Dator has been covering a wide range of sports for SB Nation for over a decade, with a special focus on the NFL.
While the NBA's brightest stars are in Toronto for the All-Star Game there's a small subset of Aussies scattered around the league who are spending the day on a boat. Dante Exum, Matthew Dellavedova, Aron Baynes, Joe Ingles, Andrew Bogut and Patty Mills are doing their best to pretend it's not winter.
Two Aussies remain. Neither made the All-Star Game, but they didn't go on the boat trip. Presumably Kyrie Irving is in Toronto anyway, but let's pour one out for poor Cameron Bairstow. Here's hoping the Bulls center couldn't make it, because the alternative is that he wasn't invited and that's just mean.
