Sacramento Kings ‘Flashback Fridays’ will include old uniforms AND old court

In order to pay homage to the team’s last season at the Sleep Train Arena, the Sacramento Kings are going all-in on #FlashbackFriday. They are not only wearing throwback uniforms on Fridays, but they’re also changing their home court to resemble the baby blue and red motif of the past.

To top it all off, they’re channeling the retro feel of the logo and court by welcoming musical acts of the past as well. Among the artists expected to perform on Fridays are Vanilla Ice, Young MC and Tiffany.

The Kings are also rumored to be one of three teams undergoing a facelift at the beginning of the 2016-2017 season. Slowly reverting back to their old color and logo may be a sign of things to come.
