There is a lot to digest here. This was very bad defending of a pick and roll, obviously. The Lakers were left with one last hope, and that hope was Kobe Bryant. He did not care.

Listen, when you’ve reached the point in your career and Kobe has, and been as great as he has for this long, you’re not required to let someone dunk on you.
