Jon Ryan signed his new Seahawks’ contract while wearing a Sonics’ throwback jersey

Jon Ryan, like many Seattle residents, is keeping the dream alive. On Monday night the Seahawks’ punter signed a new contract with the team and showed plenty of love to the city he calls home by wearing a Gary Payton throwback jersey to the signing.
This probably doesn’t qualify as business casual, but it’s just about the best way we’ve seen someone sign a contract. It’s important to note that the timing isn’t coincidental. There is a rally happening in Seattle on Tuesday to try and convince lawmakers to work out a deal that could see an NBA team return to the city.
For Ryan and all Seattle fans, we hope it happens.
