The radio call on Northern Iowa’s improbable game-winner is almost as good as the shot

Northern Iowa authored an everlasting moment in NCAA Tournament history on Friday when Paul Jesperson drilled a half-court shot at the buzzer to give UNI an upset win against Texas. The shot itself was incredible.

The shot is even better when you add in the call from the UNI announcer.

That is just a solid minute of nonstop one-liners. Each and every one required to properly describe the shot and the moment. A prayer was answered. Giants killers. I love this team. It was all just pure bliss.

March Madness is the best.
