During President Barack Obama's visit to Cuba, the Tampa Bay Rays played a game against Cuba's national team.
The Rays’ plane got stranded on the tarmac in Cuba and most of them hadn’t showered
Oh, the humanity.

But they got more than they bargained for on their way home.
Great trip to Cuba. But....we haven't left yet. We've been stuck on the runway for the past 6 hours. Safe to say we are a bit delusional

No big deal, just a little nap before hitting the skies. But wait, there’s more.
Ps. The shower at the stadium in Cuba today wasn't working after the game. So many guys have not showered....

Oh no. Nothing like the smell of a freshly opened bag of potato chips, combined with jet fuel and the odor of 40 unwashed bodies after they’ve played nine innings of baseball.
But, after what could only have been an olfactory roller coaster, the Rays made it safely back to their showers.
It's been a long night but the @RaysBaseball team is happy to be back home!
