On Tuesday’s episode of Jeopardy!, the cast of Young and the Restless stopped by to give video clues about adjectives. As a concept, this isn’t a bad idea -- both shows are produced by Sony Pictures Television, so they might as well collaborate -- but in execution, it makes for unintentionally hilarious line reads.
Wanna get a clue about an adjective? First, you gotta get through a short, contextual skit, followed by characters breaking the fourth wall and staring at the camera.
“HEY, TELEVISION VIEWER. WE’RE STARING AT YOU AND GIVING YOU A CLUE ABOUT AN ADJECTIVE. HOW’S YOUR DAY GOING?”
“I love this woman so much ... ”
“... BUT FIRST I NEED Y’ALL TO GIVE ME AN ADJECTIVE DESCRIBING WHAT I’M FEELING PLEASE HELP ME JEOPARDY”
“CAN YOU BELIEVE WHAT WE’RE DOING HERE NOW GIVE ME AN ADJECTIVE DAMN IT”
