Kevin Durant recently announced his latest shoe the, KD 8 Elite. It looks like similar versions of the Kevin Durant shoe except it has a calf sleeve according to SneakerNews that "provides additional security and lockdown." Kevin Durant has been wearing these in-game ahead of their official release as seen here but there is more to the story.

This sleeve is obviously more of the security and lockdown as described previously but the sleeve almost goes to his knee and he has freakishly long legs. Those would be like shoe suspenders for a regular person!
