Kobe Bryant was asked Wednesday if he had spoken to D’Angelo Russell about the Nick Young controversy. Bryant explained that he’d used his inner Yoda by, uh, well, not quite exactly quoting Yoda.
“I had a chance to talk to him earlier today,” he said. “All I can do is just do my best Yoda impersonations and give him that kind of sage advice, I guess. One day pass, this shall -- or something like that.”
