Doug the Pug wants to be the next USWNT goalie

Doug the Pug is living an amazing life. If you on follow him on either Twitter or Snapchat, you know that he gets to visit great places and meet greater people. If you’re looking for a primer on living it up, consult this adorable pug.
Recently, Doug had the honor of visiting the United States Women’s National Team. Again he looks like he’s having a blast on the pitch at the SheBelieves Cup. He got to take a picture with the entire team during practice, and he even got to wear Hope Solo’s gloves. Doug envisions himself as a goalie.
And as adorable as Doug is, we don’t think he’s cut out for the ultra-competitive USWNT. For one, he can’t fill Solo’s gloves, but more importantly, Doug is a boy dog. If he really wanted to compete for a U.S. soccer team, he should talk to Jürgen Klinsmann. Who knows, maybe he’ll let Doug on the roster for Copa America.
