This unimpressed Kobe Bryant GIF is the closest thing to art in the sports world

Are sports art? It’s a question you’ve probably never pondered before. Sure, we have a tendency to see stories that play out as “poetic,” and at times athletes do things that are artistic -- but unimpressed Kobe Bryant is art. I defy you to say otherwise.

It’s not just the juxtaposition of the Lakers’ young players being totally amped while the stoic veteran is unmoved. It’s the zoom ... the zoom. It’s perfect.

Whoever the camera operator was deserves a raise. The producer needs an Emmy. This is Ansel Adams in sport form.
