Taiwanese Animators honored Kobe Bryant’s 20-year career the only way they know how
As Kobe calls it a career, the world will look at that moment the way most modern events are viewed—through the wonderful lens of the Taiwanese Animators.
Who can forget the time Kobe Bryant engulfed his face and scalp with chia seeds, thereby transforming the young Lakers players, who had apparently been previously playing in diapers, into the afro-sporting sidekick alongside Shaq in the early 2000s?
Or what about the time that both Shaq and Kobe had a religious experience upon finding the meditative Phil Jackson, floating amongst the tranquility of nature and the triangle offense? (Note: this one may have actually happened.)
Surely you remember Gollum appearing during one the NBA Finals. That’s pretty much the reason why Shaq bolted to Miami.
We’re going to miss Kobe and his leprechaun-fighting, helicopter-jumping, Sonic the Hedgehog ring-collecting mystique.
